For those who didn’t make it to the last meet, here’s a quick recap. Stone & Wood went head to head with Murray’s. The match was long and rough, with Stone & Wood fielding Jasper Ale and their heavy weight contender Pacific Ale, against Murray’s Punch and Judy English Ale and Dark Night Porter Style, both proven opponents.
But there can only be one winner (not true, all the beers were thoroughly enjoyed) and by a small margin, Stone & Wood’s Pacific Ale took the cake, which is on tap all this month as Beer of the Month!
Next Wednesday will see the Battle of the Growlers between The Grifter and Young Henry’s, along with other beer related shenanigans. And remember the first rule of Craft Beer Fight Club… Invite everyone.
WINNER: Stone & Wood’s Pacific Ale – cloudy and golden with a big fruity aroma and a refreshing finish – (4.4%)
